Sad woman poem

There's a sad woman upstairs
She'll stay in that place all day
Crying at random, breaking down piece by piece
She's nothing more than a crumbling leaf
Fading away, fading away.
The light in her eyes has died and no ones replacing the lightbulb
There's a murky fog around her
She looks but doesn't see,
I used to know a woman who meant everything to me
I don't know her anymore, she's not the person she used to be
There's a coloured pane of glass between us,
The glass distorts everything
I've tried to bring her back, but it's time to give up I think.
