Sleepwalking. 1st poem

Leave me out in the rain,
I'd rather be washed away
A prison isn't always four walls
leave me out in the cold
I wont accept your help
I'd rather drown in the rain
than admit I've lost myself.

I was sleepwalking
now I've woken up,
didn't you know I was happier before
now I'm just broken
leave me out in the rain,
I'm happy to drown,
I'm a shell of a person, my soul wont follow this way
I'd rather have slept an eternity
than live for a day.

Sleepwalking through life, was it a crime?
are you happy now that I'm drowning outside?
